Marisol Rosado-Perez

Marisol Rosado-Perez, career counselor and academic coach, has earned a Presidential Citation from the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE). The citation recognizes Rosado-Perez for her “hard work, countless hours, and dedication which has led to successful and outstanding contribution to EACE.” Rosado-Perez earned the citation during her first year of service within the EACE, and based on her committee work this past year, she was recruited and elevated by the EACE nominating committee to chair the Grants and Scholarship Committee.

Courtney Kelly

Executive Director of Admissions Courtney Kelly presented at the 56th annual Pennsylvania Association of College Admissions Counseling conference in June. She shared the exciting story of how Widener University’s campus visit for prospective students has flourished and been successful, as a result of campus wide collaboration, partnership, and support.

Amy Yarlett

Amy Yarlett, director of Exploratory Studies, has been honored with a Year of 50 Spartans award from York College. In honor of its 50th anniversary, York College created the program to recognize outstanding alumni who have demonstrated dedication, excellence, professional achievement, and a commitment to staying engaged with York College after graduating.

Widener Receives $1.35 Million for Opioid Treatment Training

The Health Resources and Services Administration awarded Sanjay Nath, associate professor of graduate clinical psychology, a three-year, $1.35 million grant to launch an integrated care treatment program for individuals who battle Opioid Use Disorder and Substance Use Disorders.
