The Widener University community celebrated and continued the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with community service and commemorative events. Events included:

Widener's hospitality and tourism program partnered with the Chester Upland School District and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church to host a fundraising dinner.
Senior nursing students traveled to Peru as part a fall semester population health course to learn about the delivery of care from an international and cultural perspective.
