The chamber music program is open to students of all levels and experiences and emphasizes ensemble playing.
Student groups (piano four-hand/trio, string trio/quartet, etc.) vary according to instrumentation and ability. Experience performance opportunities every semester, including studio recitals, chamber concerts, and mini-chamber recitals.

The dance program incorporates aspects of various dance styles—from modern and jazz to ballet and beyond—while providing students with structured rehearsal and performance experience.
As a member of the dance program, you'll perform on campus every semester.
Regardless of your major, you can earn academic credit and develop your musical or dance skills through performing, private study, as well as completing academic- and performance-based courses.
When you take part in Widener's chamber music or dance program, you'll also have the opportunity to learn from and take private lessons with leading professionals from the Philadelphia area.
You'll have the opportunity to perform on campus with student peers and faculty mentors in a professional setting multiple times per year.

Widener is home to many performing arts clubs and groups to keep you engaged with the arts in a more informal way. Whatever your passion, there's something for you at Widener.
Whether performing on the field or on stage, Widener concert and marching band students perform in a variety of settings including home football and basketball games, concerts, recitals, and the Homecoming Pep Rally.
In addition to theatre, dance, and music performances, Widener also hosts the Widener University Recital Series which brings world renowned musical performers to our students and community on campus.
