The Office of Disabilities Services provides services to students with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and psychological disabilities. The office serves as a campus advocate to ensure that all have equal access to academic programs and other aspects of campus life.
Any student has the right to request reasonable accommodation of a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Disabilities Services reviews documentation and student requests for accommodations.
Examples of typically-requested accommodations include:
Extended time for test-taking
Distraction-reduced testing spaces
Academic coaching is available to all students, including those with disabilities. You can meet one-on-one with an academic coach who will help you focus on time management, study skills, social and emotional adjustment, and/or academic planning.
We offer a robust career development support system that will help you develop the skills and experiences necessary to pursue the career of your dreams.
