    Six Widener Freshmen Named Apogee Scholars

    Six Widener University freshmen have been named Apogee Scholars by the Oskin Leadership Institute at Widener for their high potential for leading change on campus and in their communities. The students are also recipients of the Widener High School Leadership Award and received a $20,000 scholarship to attend Widener.

    Art Gallery Hosts Exhibition of Local Women Artists Inspired by Fellow Women Artists

    The Widener University Art Gallery will host AFFINITIES Women Artists - Women's Inspiration from September 2 through October 11. The exhibition includes the creative works of five local women artists who have chosen "affinity partners," artists whose work they admire and with whom they have a stylistic or theme-based connection. The exhibition is presented by the Regional center for Women in the Arts.
