Linda Durant, senior vice president for university advancement at Widener University, had been named Professional of the Year by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District II. Durant will accept the award Feb. 2 during the CASE District II Conference in Washington, D.C.

Widener University has been named to the 2014 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll "With Distinction" in the General Community Service and Education Community Service categories. Widener has been named to the Honor Roll every year since its inception in 2006.
