Take Flexible Courses

Planning to work while you study? Pursue your degree part-time. Want to study full-time? You can do that, too. Either way, you'll take online classes with only one on-campus health assessment course required, in addition to an in-person clinical practica that can be completed in your state of residence.

Take Two Steps Forward—Pursue a DNP

A Doctor of Nursing Practice—the terminal degree in the nursing profession—will prepare you to work as an advanced practice nurse who delivers the highest level of quality care. And in Widener's program, you don't need an MSN to enroll.

Accelerate your path to the top of the field by going straight from an RN to a DNP. Most RN-DNP students earn their doctorate in 10 fewer credits than those who separately earn a MSN and a DNP.

Your Inside Track to Success

You will graduate with the expertise you need to provide care as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
