About Me
I am a native of Philadelphia and have been a nurse for 21 years. I am the Founder and CEO of the Cultural Institute of Health and Education (CIHE), a nonprofit dedicated to providing accessible healthcare vocational training to underserved communities.
As a nursing educator and advocate, I have trained hundreds of individuals in phlebotomy and EKG certification, creating pathways to healthcare careers. I hold a Ph.D. in Nursing from Drexel University and have served as a professor, workforce development leader, and community health advocate. Through CIHE and my academic work, I am dedicated to bridging healthcare gaps and empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Research Interests
I am interested in research on mental health and homelessness in youth aging out of foster care.
