Campus Safety Is Here for You—24/7

Widener’s Campus Safety team is on duty around the clock, patrolling campus by vehicle, by bike, and on foot. With a strong presence and a campus-wide surveillance system that extends into surrounding areas, their goal is simple: help you feel safe, supported, and confident wherever you are.

Looking Out for Yourself & Others

Speak Up When Something Isn’t Right

If you experience or witness discrimination, harassment, bias, or any form of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, stalking, or exploitation, you are encouraged to take action.

Widener does not tolerate these behaviors, and there are clear ways to report concerns and access support. Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or someone else, you’ll find options that prioritize your safety, privacy, and well-being.

Support Starts with Noticing

Personal safety isn’t always about emergencies—sometimes it’s recognizing when something feels off and knowing where to turn. The CARE Team helps you navigate concerns early and connect with the right support, whether for yourself or someone else.

Learn & Take Action

Community safety takes all of us. WAVE (Widener Anti-Sexual Violence Education) creates space to speak out about sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. Plus, you can build skills around consent, relationships, bystander intervention, communication, and much more.

Led by students, faculty, and staff, WAVE offers workshops, resources, a survivor support space, and opportunities to get involved—so you can build knowledge, support your peers, and help create a safer campus community.
