CCNE Reaccreditation Visit
The Dwyer School of Nursing Undergraduate and Graduate Program will host the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from November 2-4, 2026, when CCNE conducts its reaccreditation site visit for our Baccalaureate, Master’s , Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Post-Graduate Certificates.

The Dwyer School of Nursing Undergraduate and Graduate Program will host the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from November 2-4, 2026, when CCNE conducts its reaccreditation site visit for our Baccalaureate, Master’s , Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Post-Graduate Certificates. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) - a nationally recognized accrediting agency for baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs, entry-to-practice nurse residency programs, and nurse practitioner (NP) fellowship/residency programs - is reviewing 118 nursing programs at 80 institutions of higher education, 9 entry-to-practice nurse residency programs at 8 healthcare organizations, and 2 NP fellowship/residency programs for accreditation during the Fall 2026 term.
In accordance with CCNE’s procedures, the Commission provides the opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, third-party comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation. Third-party comments for baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs must relate to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (2024) for education programs. Comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review the noted nursing program.
Written third-party comments regarding programs must be received by CCNE by no later than the end of day October 12, 2026. Only signed comments are accepted by CCNE. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team prior to the visit, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE's policy on Conduct of Business in English.
