School of Business Highlights
One Year Paid Business Co-op Program
Practical, hands-on experience helps students hone in on a career path, learn crucial skills needed for the marketplace, and expand their professional network. In our co-op program, eligible students can gain up to one full year of compensated work experience and still graduate within four years.
School of Business Honors Program
The SBA Honors Program is designed for students who want to pursue business topics at a more intense level or study current topics in more depth than the traditional business curriculum. Honors students enjoy a number of special benefits, including participation in trips, dinners, and professional meetings, all of which complement classroom learning.
Facilities and Clubs
Our state-of-the art Finance Lab features the same technology used by financial planners and investors. Students use the space for coursework, individual study, and to make real-life investment decisions for the Student Managed Investment Fund. Students can also get involved in clubs and professional organizations to learn more about their major and to network.
Study Abroad
Business professionals need to be prepared for a global economy. Widener offers business majors both short- and long-term study abroad opportunities - to countries like Spain, China, Italy, and Costa Rica - for students to broaden their horizons, gain a global perspective, and experience personal growth.
