Program Overview
When you graduate, as a business analytics major, you won't just start your career – you'll continue the work you've been doing all along.

The business analytics program ensures students develop a strong understanding of both business strategy and information technology. Students can expect to take core business and management courses, as well as computer science and communication studies.

Prepare for rapid career growth by completing two degrees in five years. When you graduate, you’ll receive a bachelor’s degree in business analytics and a master’s degree in one of several graduate programs in the School of Business Administration.
In addition to being offered as a major, students interested in business analytics can also pursue a minor. A minor in business analytics allows students to explore a dynamic and challenging interdisciplinary field in exploring the roles of technology in various industries. This minor combines a business orientation with the analytics and allows you to access, analyze and report data-driven insights to drive business innovation.

The business honors program is an exciting opportunity for academically talented students to enrich their business education with advanced honors courses, an honors seminar, collaboration with faculty on research, civic engagement, and professional and leadership development opportunities.
Students can complete their program of study in 4 years graduating with a certificate of honors in business.

SAS is the leading software package used by industry for advanced analytics and its certificate is highly-respected in the field.

Business analytics majors have the opportunity to join various clubs and organizations across campus and beyond to expand their network, including the Beta Aphi Psi - Intl Honor Society for Financial Information Students & Professionals, the Association of Business Process Management Professionals (ABPMP) and many more.
The Business (Developing Entrepreneurs) LLC provides freshmen business students a unique opportunity to live and learn together through a variety of co-curricular activities and social events that explore scholarly faculty work, personal development, academic skills, and success in the business profession.
