In the administrative residency, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate management competencies by applying your knowledge and skills to real world issues in health care organizations. You'll learn the ins and outs of the workplace by attending executive meetings, and completing one or more management projects. Before you graduate, you'll complete at least 360 hours of part-time or full-time experience.

If you plan to work in a health care management role while you complete the MBA program, you may fulfill the residency requirement with your current organization. Or, if you enter the program with health care management experience, you may request a residency waiver.

Complement your in-class learning with powerful workshops led by health care consultants. You'll develop a personal career development plan and learn to build a network of industry insiders. Along the way, you'll have an opportunity to connect with local recruiters by participating in a health care career panel.

PsyD/MBA in Health Care Management

In this interdisciplinary program, students earn an MBA in healthcare management and a doctor of clinical psychology (PsyD) degree at the same time. Students train to be clinical psychologists while developing a deep understanding of the healthcare system in which they will practice. By complementing the development of clinical psychology expertise with competencies related to running the business of health care, students graduate ready to run their own practices or take on leadership roles in a variety of health care settings.
