Our marketing program provides you with grounding in business. So, in addition to marketing, you'll learn about accounting, finance, management, and all other aspects of business.
But, as a marketing major, you'll also be encouraged to take communication studies courses because writing active listening, and presenting are a foundation to any marketing degree. This will open your career options and ensure you're a well-rounded professional.
Prepare for rapid career growth by completing two degrees in five years. When you graduate, you’ll receive a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in one of several graduate programs in the School of Business Administration.
In addition to being offered as a major, students interested in marketing can also pursue a minor. A minor in marketing will expose any student to a dynamic and diverse business field that impacts our daily lives. This minor will give students the professional skills required in any marketing field and gives a chance for students to pursue more opportunities.
Marketing is dynamic, fun, and exciting. It connects customers to the best products and challenges brands to innovate and deeply relate with their markets.
Take advantage of internships or co-ops in marketing. You'll apply what you've learned in class to solve real business problems and get your foot in the door for future job opportunities.
In partnership with the Office of Career Design and Development, explore the opportunity to complete 12 months of full-time, paid co-op work and still complete your degree in four years.
Or, you can go for an internship at a company that suits your interests. In these positions, you will develop your business and technology skills, while also learning firsthand what marketing and all of its various facets involves in practice.
Join the Zeta Eta chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the national and professional student organization for sales, marketing, and management.
