Complete Flexibility with our Professional MBA (30 credits)

All ten courses are offered in-person and online. Complete your degree in as little as one year or at your own pace.

Specialized MBA (33 credits) 

Add a specialization to your MBA curriculum. Combine seven core business courses with courses in data analytics, business process innovation, investment management, organizational leadership, or your own customized course of study. All core business courses are offered in-person and online. Not all specialization courses are online.

  • Business Process Innovation: Lead your organization into greater efficiency and superior outcomes by exploring the latest thinking in project management, modeling and analysis, data design, and more. Gain a competitive advantage by transforming your organization from functional silos to integrated end-to-end business processes. Available on campus or online.
  • Data Analytics: Develop in-demand data analytic skills as you learn to use SAS and other popular applications to transform decision-making and performance. As you work toward your master’s degree, you’ll simultaneously earn a SAS joint certificate in business intelligence and analytics and acquire the skills to operate industry-leading applications. Available on campus. 
  • Investment Management: Acquire the knowledge and skills to thrive as a professional in the investment management world. Learn and explore the inner workings of the investment management business from both the institutional perspective (portfolio management and fund operations) and the client’s perspective (behavioral finance and retirement planning). Prepare to sit for credentialing exams such as the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 65, and the CFA level I exams. Specialization courses offered online. Core courses offered online or on campus.
  • Organizational Leadership: Become an effective leader who delivers results. Learn to take charge, solve complex problems, empower employees, and manage change. Position your organization for strategic success and drive individual, team, and organizational performance. Available on campus or online.
  • Customized Studies: Select a custom set of courses that best suit your interests, job needs, or career aspirations. You can mix and match courses from other MBA specializations or choose courses from other our graduate business programs.

Strengthen your career path by earning your MBA and a second master's degree simultaneously. Complete the MBA component of each dual degree your way: online or in person. You can even transition between delivery formats. 

Program Options

PsyD/MBA: This unique multidisciplinary program awards students an MBA and a doctor of psychology (PsyD) degree. The curriculum integrates clinical psychology expertise with a mastery of corporate strategy, organizational systems and processes, leadership, and critical business functions. Students develop competencies in executive assessment and coaching, leadership development, and change management. 

An optional MBA specialization in organizational leadership complements the PsyD curriculum. Students who follow this track acquire the skills to foster and maintain high-performing employees, teams, and organizations. This experience, paired with a deep understanding of clinical psychology principles, equips graduates to work as leading executive coaches and organizational consultants. All PsyD courses offered on campus in Chester, PA.

MSE/MBA: Designed for engineers who have managerial and technical responsibilities, this dual degree program leads to a master of science in engineering (MSE) and an MBA. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of three courses (9 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All MSE courses offered on campus in Chester, PA.

MJ/MBA: Simultaneously earn an MBA and a master of jurisprudence (MJ) in corporate law with a concentration in regulatory analysis & compliance. This program is designed to accommodate working professionals who want to improve their employment opportunities or keep pace with changing regulatory requirements. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of three courses (9 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All MJ courses offered online. 

Delaware JD/MBA: Designed to be completed in four years (full-time) or five years (part-time), this dual degree program introduces students to an integrated curriculum where the disciplines of law and business administration complement one other. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of six courses (18 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All JD courses offered on campus in Wilmington, DE. 

Commonwealth JD/MBA: This dual degree program allows students to simultaneously pursue graduate education in law and business. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of six courses (18 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower rate than those who independently complete both degrees. All JD courses offered on campus in Harrisburg, PA.  

You can complete a Professional MBA Degree 100% online. If you are interested in pursuing a Specialized MBA option, you may earn all core business credits online, however some specialized courses may be required in person.

Admissions Information

An application to our Professional MBA or Specialized MBA consists of:

For admission consideration, you must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7. 

GMAT/GRE Requirement and Waiver Process

To satisfy the GMAT/GRE requirement:

  • Submit a minimum GMAT score of 450 (or an equivalent GRE score)
  • Request an Interview to explore conditional admission in lieu of a GMAT or GRE score
  • Request a GMAT/GRE waiver if at least one of the following is true:
    • You have 5 years of relevant work experience after graduating from a bachelor’s program (proof of experience must be submitted)
    • You graduated from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher
    • You hold a master’s degree from an accredited institution
    • You completed a related certificate and earned a 3.3 cumulative GPA or higher

You may begin your MBA in the fall or spring semester. Both the Professional MBA and Specialized MBA use a rolling admission format, meaning you can apply when it’s convenient for you. We recommend you complete your application at least one month prior to the start of the semester. 

We're committed to making your graduate degree affordable by offering financial assistance. Assistantships and scholarships are available to qualified individuals enrolled in the MBA degree program.

Dean’s Scholarships

  • A limited number of Dean’s Scholarships are available to enrolled students who meet merit and experience criteria. Contact the student success advisor for details on how and when to apply.

Graduate Assistantships

  • Enrolled students can apply for a limited number of graduate assistantships. The selection process is competitive. Graduate assistants receive tuition assistance and have service requirements in the School of Business Administration. Contact the student success advisor for details on how and when to apply.
