PsyD/MBA: This unique program awards students an MBA and a doctor of psychology (PsyD) degree. The curriculum integrates clinical psychology expertise with a mastery of corporate strategy, organizational systems and processes, leadership, and critical business functions. Students develop competencies in executive assessment and coaching, leadership development, and change management.
An optional MBA specialization in organizational leadership complements the PsyD curriculum. Students who follow this track acquire the skills to foster and maintain high-performing employees, teams, and organizations. This experience, paired with a deep understanding of clinical psychology principles, equips graduates to work as leading executive coaches and organizational consultants. All PsyD courses are offered on campus in Chester, PA.
MSE/MBA: Designed for engineers who have managerial and technical responsibilities, this dual degree program leads to a master of science in engineering (MSE) and an MBA. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of three courses (9 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All MSE courses are offered on campus in Chester, PA.
MJ/MBA: Simultaneously earn an MBA and a master of jurisprudence (MJ) in corporate law with a concentration in regulatory analysis & compliance. This program is designed to accommodate working professionals who want to enhance their employment opportunities or keep pace with changing regulatory requirements. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of three courses (9 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All MJ courses are offered online.
Delaware JD/MBA: Designed to be completed in four years (full-time) or five years (part-time), this dual degree program introduces students to an integrated curriculum where the disciplines of law and business administration complement each other. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of six courses (18 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower cost than those who independently complete both degrees. All JD courses are offered on campus in Wilmington, DE.
Commonwealth JD/MBA: This dual degree program allows students to simultaneously pursue graduate education in law and business. By pairing these two curricula, students benefit from an overlap of six courses (18 credits). This results in significant tuition and time savings, giving students a faster track to career growth at a lower rate than those who independently complete both degrees. All JD courses are offered on campus in Harrisburg, PA.

Note: GMAT or GRE scores are not required for admission to graduate business programs. However, applicants who have completed the GMAT or GRE may opt to submit their test scores to strengthen their admissions applications or scholarship applications.
Personal Statement
Please explain why you wish to do graduate work in the field you have selected with particular emphasis on your proposed area of specialization. Please limit this essay to no more than one typewritten page.
Our MBA programs use a rolling admissions format which means you can apply when it's convenient for you. We recommend you complete your application at least one month prior to the start of the semester you wish to begin. You may begin your MBA in the fall or spring semester.
Widener transfer applicants follow the same application process as general applicants. After you apply, our admissions team will work with you to determine whether completed undergraduate and graduate coursework will count towards foundation/core courses that can be waived or substituted.

A limited number of university-based scholarships are made available to enrolled graduate students made possible directly from our academic department or thanks to the generosity of university donors. No extra steps are needed to be taken prior to admission. Once enrolled, contact your program director to learn more.
Widener offers a limited number of graduate assistantships to enrolled students. GAs receive tuition assistance for their work. Once you're a student, contact your program director for more information.
Widener University also partners with many local organizations and corporations to offer discounted tuition and other incentives to their employees. Don't see your company on the list? Ask them to become a partner. In addition, employers often offer educational reimbursement benefits. We encourage you to explore these opportunities and will be glad to provide any necessary documentation.
If you graduated with a degree from Widener, you may qualify for a 20% tuition discount. The first step to see what you qualify for is to submit your application. Widener offers students many paths to savings, and while we don't offer "double discounts", we'll make sure you'll get the biggest financial benefit you're eligible for. Only students who have completed an associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree are eligible. Students who have pursued a 4+1, 4+2, or 3+3 pathway, graduate assistantship, Widener-funded scholarship, or other tuition discount may not be eligible if the financial discount granted surpasses 20%.
