Clubs & Organizations

You’ll know it when you feel it. The sense of belonging. The thrill of shared purpose. The excitement of life in a community where your fellow students care as much as you do—about learning, about connecting with others, about exploring their interests and their world.

Join the Action—It's Easy

There are plenty of ways to find and join clubs and organizations that match your interests. In addition to involvement fairs (watch the highlights video!), you'll also have access to Widener Engage—a site that highlights clubs and orgs as well as upcoming events.

Can't find what you're looking for? The Office of Student Engagement is happy to guide you to opportunities or even help you launch your own student group!

Find Friends & Build Community

No matter which topic you could talk about for hours, one thing's for certain: When you first step into a club meeting, you'll be surrounded by people who share your passion. On the flipside, if you're trying out something new, you'll be sure to find others who are thrilled to fill you in. Spending time with the same groups regularly—and bonding over common ground—make an excellent foundation for friendship. Before you know it, you'll spot friendly faces all over campus.

Explore Your Interests & Discover Something New

There's something special about pursuing knowledge for the fun of it. Here, you'll feel empowered to dig into whatever sparks your curiosity—from community service and club sports to arts & culture, academics, student-run media, and anything in between. Whether you plan to pour yourself into your favorite special interest or try out every club your schedule allows (high-five!), you'll find rewarding experiences at every turn.
