About Me

I work with students to help them through the admissions and enrollment process. I also provide extra support for transfer and international students interested in studying at Widener. I grew up in Dunmore, PA, a small town outside of Scranton (home of The Office!), but I currently live in northeast Philadelphia and love what the city has to offer. I am an avid reader and foodie, and I love to spend time outdoors hiking, biking, and walking. Even though I live in Philadelphia, I am a passionate New York Yankees and Chicago Bears fan. However, the Flyers and Gritty hold a special place in my heart.

Hometown: Dunmore, Pa

Fun Fact About Myself: I love to travel! I studied abroad in Rome, Italy during my junior year of college and caught the travel bug. After my graduation, I traveled all over Europe, worked on community development projects in Ecuador, and taught English in Thailand. The craziest foods I've eaten include grubs, scorpions, and guinea pig (a delicacy in Ecuador)!

Favorite Part About My Job: I love getting to meet and connect with students! I enjoy talking with students about their interests, strengths, and career goals, and I get so excited to share how Widener University can fit into their future academic journey.

My favorite place on Widener’s campus is: The Pride Statue outside Founder's Hall. Our mascot is the Widener Pride, which consists of three lions: Chester, Melrose, and Legacy. There is a great view of campus from this statue, and you can rub the nose of Chester for good luck!

My Favorite Thing About Widener

I love the opportunities we have at Widener to grow! Our co-ops, internships, and workshops allow for hands-on learning and experiential learning before graduation. Our staff and faculty take our students' education personally, and I have experienced this TLC firsthand in my master's program for Counselor Education here at Widener. Our students feel the love and support everyday, helping support them socially, academically, and professionally!
