About Me
I am an experienced nurse educator with clinical, lab, and academic experience. I earned my bachelor's degree in political science pre-law (BA), and my master's degree in nursing (MSN).
My nursing and clinical background has shaped my commitment to evidence-based practice and enhanced my student-teacher relationship. My primary academic focus is healthcare simulation. Simulation in nursing offers a high-impact learning experience that bridges theory and practice, enhances student's clinical judgment, and prepares students for the complexities of modern healthcare.
I remain committed to mentoring future nurses and advancing simulation performance based on patient-family centered care. As a nurse, I empathize with the importance of caring and compassion in the academic and clinical setting.
