About Me
I am experienced nursing educator focused on preparing future nurses as they transition from classroom, clinical, and to bedside. Over the past 15 years, I have held a variety of educator roles teaching undergraduate nursing students in the skills lab environment, simulation lab, and precepting in the clinical environment. In my current role as a clinical lecturer, I enjoy working with students in the classroom from the Freshmen to the Junior level. Being well-acclimated to the importance of student engagement in learning, I include innovative teaching and learning strategies to promote comprehension and critical thinking. I am a certified medical/surgical nurse and practice at the bedside in a post-surgical unit. I am dedicated to the profession of nursing and truly enjoy sharing my passion and expertise to those following their calling to nursing.
