About Me

title ix coordinator badge I am a proud Widener Law graduate and am grateful for the opportunities that Widener provided me as a student.   I am happy that I get to pay that forward in my roles as the Assistant Dean of Students and an Adjunct Professor at Widener Law Commonwealth.

As a practicing attorney, I dedicated my career to helping those in need and specialized in assisting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.  In 2000, I founded the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg's Domestic Violence Legal Center and am proud that program continues to serve the community today.

In 2015, I was appointed to serve as the Chair of the Governor's Commission for Women.  The Commission advocates for and advises the Governor on issues that impact women and girls in the Commonwealth such as wage equality, campus safety, and healthcare.

I live in Harrisburg, PA with my husband (who is also an adjunct professor at Widener Law Commonwealth) and our two sons.
