About Me
As the Associate Vice President/Associate Dean for Student Living, Learning, and Engagement at Widener University, I provide support for student engagement, student living, student conduct and the overall student experience. My role focuses on creating inclusive, transformative environments that promote student success and belonging. I’m deeply committed to fostering a culture of collaboration across campus, integrating learning outcomes into student programming, and ensuring students feel supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
With over 20 years of experience in higher education, I’ve had the privilege of working in various student affairs leadership positions. Before joining Widener, I spent nine years at Pomona College, where I served as the Associate Dean of Campus Life and Director of Residence Life. I’ve also held roles at Stony Brook University, Georgia Tech, Morehouse College and Dillard University. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a passion for supporting students through leadership development, advising, and cultivating spaces where they can thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
My work is grounded in the belief that a holistic approach to student engagement—one that is inclusive, intentional, and student-centered—can have a profound impact on a student's journey and future.
Advice for Students
My advice to students is simple: enjoy the college experience. Embrace the challenges, relationships, and growth that come with it, as these years will shape who you become in ways you may not expect.
