About Me

I am a US Army trained Physician Assistant who served 20 years on active duty on military deployments in Latin America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa. I specialized in Aviation Medicine, Tropical Diseases, Disaster Preparedness and Mass Casualty Management. I also had the privilege of caring for military retirees, disabled veterans, active duty military personnel and their family members in three of the largest military medical centers in the United States.

After retirement from the US Army, I worked for 22 years for a private practice Emergency Medicine group staffing one of the largest Emergency Departments on the East Coast. I was the Director of the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Intern Training Program, training NCCPA certified Physicians Assistants for a career in Emergency Medicine.

During that time, I maintained academic teaching positions with Thomas Jefferson University and the Drexel/Hahnemann PA Program. My goal at Widener University is to train the best-qualified Physician Assistant with a commitment to service above self, lifelong learning, and community engagement.
