Dr. Betsy Crane, former director of the Widener's Human Sexuality program, and Dr. Jennifer Pollitt, associate director of Temple's Gender Women and Sexuality Studies, will have a moderated discussion about the state of sex ed in America today.
They'll tackle questions such as: What does the research say about the best way to teach sex ed? Why are there so many myths about and push back against sex ed? And how can parents, K-12 teachers and university professors join together to make sure students today are equipped to navigate the complex world of sexuality?
