Attending the Transfer Transitions program, also known as Pride Experience 3, is required for incoming transfer students starting at Widener University in the fall semester.
Transfer students are an important part of the undergraduate community, and we want you to be successful during your time at Widener University – feeling prepared and connected to the campus community. Therefore, all transfer students are required to complete an orientation program based on their number of credits earned and transferred into Widener University.
What can you expect at Transfer Orientation?
Transfer Transitions is a one-day program that provides fall transfer students the opportunity to explore helpful resources and make connections with students – a full week before the start of class! Topics covered range from how to get engaged on campus and student success and support resources to managing student finances and exploring campus facilities. Students will receive the official orientation schedule during check-in.
Preparing for Orientation
Be sure to complete your new student checklist in advance of orientation. There are important steps to take in advance of the Transfer Transitions program so that you are prepared to start your Widener journey on the right foot.
