See the Action: Move-In Day Marks A Milestone Return to Campus
Excitement pulsed across campus last week as Widener welcomed incoming and returning students to campus full-time for the fall semester. The students' arrival marked the return of all on-campus resident students and the first full in-person semester since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Members of the Class of 2025 were among the newest members of the Pride to arrive on campus during first-year student move-in day. The more than 600-member class, along with incoming transfer students, represents 15 states and 16 foreign countries including Pakistan, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria.
Dozens of faculty, staff, and student volunteers, including C.R.E.W. leaders, resident assistants, academic honor groups, varsity athletes, and ROTC cadets, welcomed the students and their families to campus.
