Taylor gained real-world experience early on through a dynamic 4-month co-op at a start-up robotics firm in Philadelphia.
She joined various campus groups such as the Robotics Club and Society for Women Engineerings—expanding her network and support systems.

While pursuing computer science, he researched issues within the fields of biology, environmental science, biochemistry, and engineering.
He built a computer server to manage 25 years of climate data research and assisted immunotherapy cancer research which inspired him to pursue oncology as his medical specialty.
Abhay earned a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health to study among some of the nation's top scientists.
