About Me

I received my bachelor's and doctoral degree from the University of Galway in Ireland. My research focused on using spectroscopic techniques for the study of protein and polymer dynamics and also metal enhanced fluorescence (MEF).

I have held several positions where I have grown as a teacher including Shenandoah University in VA where I spent several years before moving to the Philadelphia area. In my teaching I have expanded on the effective use of technology in education.
