To enter the physical or occupational therapy or medical imaging pathways, indicate your interest in your admission application.
To enroll in any of our other pathways, speak to your academic advisor about your plans during your first meeting.
Complete the coursework required to enter your graduate program of choice. Your advisor will ensure you take all the necessary prerequisites, easing your transition to advanced study and giving you a solid foundation of specialized knowledge.
Unlock preferred admission to Widener’s doctoral programs in physical and occupational therapy and our two law schools. Depending on your program, you can also choose to begin taking graduate-level classes as early as your junior year, saving time and money—and allowing you to start your career sooner.

Volunteer in nearby dental facilities, where you'll connect with experienced practitioners. As you build your network, you'll understand what it takes to thrive as a student and professional.

Join the Pre-Law Society, where you'll connect with attorneys, LSAT preparation specialists, and representatives from Widener's law schools including admissions professionals and law faculty who routinely conduct mock classes.
Prepare for the rigor of medical school and preview the experience by shadowing Widener alumni who are already there.
Apply to join our Medical Scholars Program, designed for students interested in the primary care areas of family practice, general internal medicine, or general pediatrics.
Select students also participate in an immersive, hospital-affiliated, medical school-like experience that involves shadowing physicians at hospitals and practices in the Philadelphia-area and its suburbs.
When you complete the pre-medical imaging pathway, you'll earn an associate's degree—the gateway to gaining the credentials you'll need to land advanced roles performing X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans, or other imaging techniques.
Unlike most associate's degree programs, you'll have the opportunity to live on campus and enjoy the full Widener experience.
Unlike the other pre-professional pathways, pre-medical imaging will be your major, allowing you to focus on developing the foundational skills you'll use throughout your career.
Upon graduation, you'll have the prerequisites necessary to continue your education by applying to our radiologic technology and diagnostic medical sonography programs
Select students can enroll the accelerated 3+3 program, in which you'll start taking doctoral classes during your senior year of undergrad.
Whether you pursue the 3+3 program or the traditional pathway, you'll access preferred admission to Widener's competitive pre-occupational therapy doctorate program.
Join clubs and organizations on and off campus to expand your network, including the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity and many more.
Select students can enroll the accelerated 3+3 program, in which you'll start taking doctoral classes during your senior year of undergrad.
