Join Dr. Richard Cooper as we discuss the Prologue, Chapter 1, and the Epilogue of Chained in Silence: Black Women and Convict Labor in the New South. This discussion will prepare us to welcome the book's author, Dr. Talitha LeFlouria, Associate Professor and Fellow of the Mastin Gentry White Professorship in Southern History for her author talk as part of Inauguration Week.
