Widener recognized students, faculty and staff, and organizations for their outstanding contributions to the campus experience during the 2019 Student Leadership Awards, held on April 24 in Lathem Hall. Organized by the Office of Student Engagement, the ceremony had the theme of Lights, Camera, Leadership!

“Leadership is a lifestyle. It’s complicated, rewarding, transcending, sometimes ugly, and often requires resiliency from failure. Yet, our students rise,” said Austin Duckett, assistant dean for student life. “Our students work to serve others, fight for what is right, and even through their imperfection, still manage to display courage.”
