One Pride: Homecoming 2019

Alumni were welcomed home Oct. 11 and 12 to participate in beloved traditions and to create new memories. From the broom drill and canon firing to the homecoming court and affinity group events, the new and old traditions of Widener came to life, as campus swelled with excitement.

Widener is proud to announce that Father Gregory Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, California, the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world, will be the commencement speaker this year. He will also receive an honorary degree.
