Widener University is pleased to announce that marketing executive and 2010 alumnus Domenic Colasante is joining the Board of Trustees this fall.

“Domenic Colasante is an avid supporter of Widener University and we are delighted to welcome him to the Board of Trustees,” said Widener President Julie E. Wollman. “His business acumen and valuable global work experience will add additional important industry knowledge to our board. I am excited to have him assume this new role because I know he will help Widener advance our commitment to excellence, and to providing education that gives students an edge in their careers.”

Colasante is CEO of 2X, with offices in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He co-founded the company, a pioneer in B2B marketing-as-a-service, in 2017. He previously worked as director of sales and marketing operations, and then as chief marketing officer, for WGroup, a technology management consulting firm in Radnor, Pennsylvania. He also held marketing positions at Siemens Enterprise Communications, now known as Unify an Atos company, and SAP.

He holds a bachelor of science in management with a specialty in marketing from Widener University, and a master of business administration with a specialty in strategic management and international business from Villanova University.

“Widener is a one of a kind university with both world-class academic programs and a commitment to developing well-rounded leaders,” Colasante said. “I have been successful in my career because of the foundation and relationships that I developed at Widener, and I’m humbled to have an opportunity to guide Widener in inspiring even more students to reach their full potential.”
