Widener's Accomplished Faculty Mark Achievements

Widener University congratulates members of its faculty who have been awarded promotions or tenure effective fall 2019. The decisions were approved by the Board of Trustees after recommendation by President Julie E. Wollman


“Faculty members at Widener University have an unparalleled dedication to excellence, collegiality and student success. They are leaders in their fields and are committed to preparing the next generation of professionals, while their work informs the future of the professions our students go on to lead,” Wollman said. “We congratulate them and celebrate these achievements. I thank them for the invaluable roles they play in our students’ lives.”

  • Darrell Spurlock of Wallingford, Pa., promotion to professor and award of tenure.

From the College of Arts and Sciences:
