About Me

I started my career at Widener University in 2004 and enjoy working with students who are exploring majors or need academic support. It is rewarding to make a difference in students' lives and see their successes!

  • Widener Science Faculty and Staff Present at STEM Conference

    Itzick Vatnick, professor of biology, environmental science and sustainability, and biochemistry; Louise Liable-Sands, associate professor of chemistry; Meghan Klems, assistant professor of chemistry; and Amy Yarlett, director of exploratory studies, presented at the Association of American Colleges and Universities STEM Conference in Chicago, Illinois on Nov. 8. They presented "A Multidisciplinary Faculty and Professional Staff Learning Community to Support Retention."

  • Amy Yarlett Honored with an Award from York College

    Amy Yarlett, director of Exploratory Studies, has been honored with a Year of 50 Spartans award from York College. In honor of its 50th anniversary, York College created the program to recognize outstanding alumni who have demonstrated dedication, excellence, professional achievement, and a commitment to staying engaged with York College after graduating.
