About Me
I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Widener University and my PhD from Villanova University. I am excited to be a faculty member in the place where I started my nursing journey.
As a medical-surgical float RN I had the opportunity to work on a variety of different floors, which included the emergency room, cardiac step-down unit, oncology unit, psychiatric unit, and two medical-surgical floors. Upon completion of my master's degree, I worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In these positions I have gained vast nursing experience that aids in my role as an educator. I believe learning is a lifelong process and should be enjoyable. Working closely with students has allowed me to enhance my student-teacher partnership, which I believe is an integral component of teaching.
