About Me
I am an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy with a primary research and practice interest in global health. My research focuses on ethical aspects of engaging in global health endeavors not only in the educational realm such as International Service-Learning but also pertaining to the practice of global health.
I received a 10 month Fulbright Scholar grant to Rwanda in 2024 for teaching pediatric PT content at the University of Rwanda. I serve as the Co-director for PT Rwanda for Health Volunteer Overseas, as a sub-committee member of the education workgroup of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) and as a secretary of the Global Health SIG of the APTA.
