About Me
I am passionate about physical therapy education! I am a Clinical Associate Professor in the Institute for Physical Therapy Education in the College of Health & Human Services at Widener University. I am a Physical Therapist who is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). I also hold an appointment on the Delaware Examining Board of Physical Therapists. I teach PT725 Kinesiology, PT 726 Multisystems, PT732 Musculoskeletal II, PT 736 Musculoskeletal III, PT805 Electrotherapeutics, and PT800 Comprehensive Exam. I assist with the pro bono, student-led, interprofessional Chester Community Clinic as a clinical supervisor. I want to engage with students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners while keeping focus on person-centered care. My goal is for students to embrace the mission statement of the Institute for Physical Therapy Education for life! That is, to be clinically competent physical therapists that demonstrate exemplary character and assume the responsibilities of citizenship.
