About Me

I am a research  manager, instructor and seasoned black history & culture educator. I have published numerous manuscripts on topics relating to the experiences of marginalized students, faculty and staff across the educational landscape. At the end of the day, I seek to gain a better perspective on the factors contributing to the long-standing disparities in American education.

Research Interests

To promote the college access, equity, and persistence of traditionally underrepresented populations (i.e. students from racially minoritized populations) through the examination of the experiences and outcomes of students across diverse institutional contexts in post-secondary education.
