About Me

I have a heart for teaching. My happiest place in the middle of a bookstack, in a library, or in a bookstore. My teaching philosophy is best summed up by late educator Septima P. Clark- "I believe unconditionally in the ability of people to respond when they are told the truth. We need to be taught to study rather than believe, to inquire rather than to affirm."
