You will experience the benefit of a Widener online education, plus the clinical expertise from the long-established Crozer–Keystone Health System's School of Radiologic Technology.
In our radiologic technology program, you will attend prerequisite and liberal arts courses online through Widener, and complete the program's core classes and clinical training in radiologic technology at Crozer and its clinical affiliates. Crozer is the hospital located a few blocks from Widener's main campus.
The goal of the program is to prepare you for a career in diagnostic radiology in a hospital, private practice, public health, or military setting. You will graduate ready to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate exam.
New clinical cohorts begin in July and January.

Integration of didactic and clinical training begins on the first day of clinicals with over 2,000 total hours from experienced professionals.
Widener has developed partnerships with area institutions that allow their students to complete the clinical portion of their degree at the Chester-Crozer medical center. Students from the institutions below should inquire with their academic advisor about the radiologic technology curriculum.

Class sizes are small which cultivates an exceptionally engaged and individualized learning environment taught by expert faculty and clinicians.
Employment of radiologic technologists is projected to grow 9 percent until 2028. As the population grows older, there will be an increase in medical conditions that require imaging making diagnoses.
