We're Test Optional This Year

Students who apply for the fall 2021 freshman class no longer need to submit an SAT or ACT score as part of their application.

Students who apply by November 1 will receive an early decision, early consideration for merit awards, and priority release of financial aid offers.

Applying to Widener

The quick facts: It’s free to apply—and students can apply early action by Nov. 1. We accept the Common App and offer rolling admissions.

After applying, students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. Additional aid opportunities are also available through the university.

Act 48 Approved Credit Programs
