Professor Brent Satterly was honored with the 2025 Julie E. Wollman Endowed Award for Inclusion and Belonging. This award recognizes a Widener employee who engages in advocacy and efforts in support of inclusion and belonging, demonstrates an exceptionally high level of commitment to those principles, and works to enhance the success of underrepresented groups at the university.

Kristeller Advances To Eugene for NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Alex Kristeller, a School of Engineering graduate, will advance to next month's NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon with Manhattan University. Kristeller, who is currently ranked as the 14th hammer thrower in the East, was named the national champion in weight throw at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships as an undergraduate at Widener.
