McCracken received her bachelor's of science in accounting from Widener University in 1989, and her law degree with tax honors from Rutgers University-Camden. She is a retired senior counsel for The Vanguard Group and the controller for Safe Monroe.

President Stacey Robertson has been announced in the first group of the Philadephia Business Journal's 2024 list of Most Admired CEOs. Recipients are chosen based on the work they’ve undertaken in their current role in the context of their careers, how they give back to the community and other ways they’ve positively impacted greater Philadelphia. President Robertson and the rest of the winners will be honored at an event in December.

Widener students did another series of morning interviews with CBS 3 Philadelphia following a debate watch party and discussion held on campus last night. Students shared their reactions to the debate as well as topics that came up among their peers. Anthony Fedeli '28, Damya Walton '26, Isis Williams '26, Sydney McLean '28, Nate Crowther '28, Sean Walls '28, and Ryan Desimone '27 were all interviewed live.
