Located at the corner of 17th Street and Melrose Avenue, Metropolitan Hall provides accommodations for about 300 upperclassmen who live together in apartment/suites, which can house from four to 13 people.
Whether or not suites are co-ed or single-gender is determined by the number of bathrooms available. Suites that feature two or more private bathrooms may be co-ed.
Every floor features vending areas and lounges that come equipped with flat-screen TVs.
Living spaces in Metropolitan Hall are more aligned with apartments than traditional student housing. Residents who are junior status or above often use the kitchens for preparing meals instead of purchasing campus meal plans (required for freshmen and sophomores).
