Building on the success of last year’s AI Day, Widener expanded the 2026 program to a week-long concept, continuing the conversation around AI on campus and across the globe.
Nearly $550,000 in grant funding to School of Engineering delivers industry-level technology to a reimagined makerspace and machine shop, and positions Widener as a regional hub for rapid manufacturing, applied research and workforce development.

Isaacson serves as the President and COO at Tellica Imaging, a cutting-edge medical imaging company. He earned his PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Utah in 2011, and his MBA from Boston College in 2015. Isaacson is also heavily involved in research for combat-injured service members with musculoskeletal injuries through The Geneva Foundation.
