Social Work CEU: Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy - A Practical Overview

- Zoom
Open to:
  • Alumni
  • Community/Public
  • Current Graduate Students
  • Faculty/Staff

With there being an almost deafening buzz about psychedelic assisted psychotherapies, clients often bring loads of questions about them to their therapists. We will address clients' most common questions, the parameters for thinking with them about their interests in psychedelics, and how to confidently help interested individuals pursue safe, effective, appropriate treatment.

For clinicians interested in learning more about psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, this will provide an essential overview. Participants will learn how to support their clients while working collaboratively with other providers, and learning the steps for onboarding your own practice and clients for therapists interested in become ketamine-assisted psychotherapists.

The program will include some didactic teaching, poll questions, live demonstrations, power points, as well as solid, ongoing questions and answers in both the chat and presentation. Join the event through Zoom and discover more CEU events here.

ZoomCEU events and CEUs are free for current Widener students, faculty, and field instructors. Widener alumni need to pay $10; everyone else, $25. Payment will be collected at the end of the event. After the event, you will be emailed your certificate.
