In this presentation, we will address how to conduct a strategic job search that allows you to pursue your job goals while creating strategic interim plans along the way. We will also provide you with the networking and job searching tips that will help guide you through this process.

It's fall. You were expecting to finally get your house back and then it all changed. Now the kids are at home and everyone is learning, sharing, and trying to get used to our "new normal". This workshop is designed to give parents strategies to support their college student's transition to virtual learning. We will discuss time management, autonomous learning, and self-care tactics to support mental health and wellness for both you and your student.

Virtual Stargazing

Join Dr. Harry Augensen, Professor and Director of Widener Observatory, and John Conte ’09 for a night of virtual stargazing! Alumni, students, and friends will find out what's up in the night sky this month, learn fascinating facts about the Moon, planets, and stars, and see images of celestial bodies taken through our 16-inch Cassegrain telescope. This event will be held rain or shine.

Passing of the Flag and World War II: PMC Men Who Served

All are welcome to attend the annual Passing of the Flag ceremony to watch the broom drill flag be passed onto the newest Widener University ROTC alumni class. This year also includes a special viewing of the World War II: PMC Men Who Served video which commemorates the service of PMC alumni on the 75th anniversary of the Second World War. Following the video will be a Q&A with Tom Vossler '68 and Ron Romanowicz '68.
