Yvonne Antonucci Co-Authors Article on ERPsim

Yvonne Antonucci, a professor in the School of Business Administration, co-authored an article "Developing a Framework to Understand Student Engagement, Team Dynamics, and Learning Outcomes Using ERPsim" in the Spring 2019 issue of the Journal of Information Systems Education. This research developed and tested a model to examine the relationship between the use of ERPsim and learning outcomes, an area where little if any research previously existed. The study results indicated a positive association between student engagement, team dynamics, and learning outcomes.

Graduate Student Presents Paper on Artificial Intelligence

Gary Bennett, a graduate student in the master of science in business process innovation program, presented a paper, "An Examination of the Acceptance of Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Smart Speaker Adoption with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology" at the Pennsylvania Economic Association meeting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. The paper is co-authored with Associate Professor Donna McCloskey.

Three Business Faculty Win the Excellence in Research Journal Awards

IGI Global announced that Associate Professor Richard Goeke, Associate Professor Kerri Crowne Brannen, and Associate Professor Dennis Laker won the 11th Annual Excellence in Research Journal Awards in the category of library and information science. Their article "The Effect of Education on Information Systems Success: Lessons from Human Resources," published in the Information Resources Management Journal, was recognized as one of 11 journal articles from the 2018 volume year that showcased forward-thinking research and outstanding scholarship.
