Chester Community Clinic

Serving the Community 

The Chester Community Clinic of Widener University constitutes a collection of student-run health clinics from the College of Health & Human Services and the School of Nursing.  The purpose of the clinics is to improve the health and wellness of our local community and of our community members who are uninsured, underinsured, or otherwise have limited access to care; while simultaneously educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Located in Wollman Hall at 1720 Melrose Avenue in Chester, PA, the Chester Community Clinic currently offers physical therapy services, occupational therapy services, clinical psychology services, and is home to the Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and the Widener Community Nursing Clinic. The Chester Community Clinic also collaborates with Widener University's Social Work Counseling Center to help meet client and community needs.

Services are provided by graduate health science under the direct supervision of licensed practitioners in their respective fields and in accordance with their State Practice Acts of care.

The Chester Community Clinic is open year-round with the exception of the Winter Holiday Break and two weeks at the end of the summer.  Hours for each service vary but are mostly offered in the late afternoon and early evening Mondays - Thursdays.
