This resource is meant to support your research, but it doesn’t include every possible lender. You’re always free to choose any private education lender you prefer.

At ELMSelect, you'll find:

• Neutral Loan Comparisons: ELMSelect is a transparent, school-specific platform that lets students compare private student loan options side by side with real-time lender data—no account required and no pressure—so they can confidently choose what best fits their needs.
• School and Program Matching: By selecting their school and academic program, students see lenders and products aligned with their enrollment type.
• Current Lender Information is supplied and updated by lenders, allowing students to review the most up-to-date details available.
• Student-Driven Decisions: ELMSelect is a neutral comparison tool that allows students to evaluate options and choose a lender that best meets their needs.

How to Use ELMSelect

1. Go to www.ELMSelect.com and enter "Widener University"; or visit Widener's direct ELMSelect link.
2. Select the program for which you intend to be enrolled.
3. Click on the "View" button on the lender that you’d like to learn more about. You also have a feature to filter information for multiple lenders to make the best decision for your needs.
4. Once you have decided which lender you will be applying with, you will be linked directly to that lender’s website using the “Apply” button to begin the loan application process.

What Happens After You Apply?

When all required items have been submitted and the lender has provided the Financial Aid Office with the approved loan information, a student’s private education loan can be certified.

Private loan certification is typically completed within two weeks, though processing times may take longer during peak periods or when additional lender documentation is required.
